New oral anticoagulants in venous thromboembolism

Abstract：The key factor of prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism is anticoagulation therapy. Currently,vitamin K antagonists the most widely used oral anticoagulants, have some defects such as slow onset,narrow therapeutic window,wide dose-response variation,etc. In recent years,new oral anticoagulants have been developed to overcome those defects, which provide an alternative choice to prevent and treat the venous thromboembolism.
