Problems during the diagnosis and treatment of elderly acute abdomen with laparoscopic techniques

Abstract：With the population aging,the incidence of elderly acute abdomen has been increasing. Laparoscopic techniques can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of elderly acute abdomen safely. Laparoscopic exploration has the unique advantage in elderly patients with nontraumatic acute abdomen. The correct preoperative assessment of the function of important organs,timely treatment of complications,correct timing for operation are prerequisite for successful operation. The skilled laparoscopic techniques and experience of the surgeon are the keys to success. Surgeons also need to master the transit operation time,timely and decisive transit open abdomen in order to improve the success rate of emergency treatment.
