Preoperative imaging evaluation for gastric cancer

Abstract:Radiology is one of the important modalities in the diagnosis of gastric cancer. The integrated application of X-ray double-contrast examination, CT and MRI can effectively improve the detection and diagnosis of gastric cancer, increase the accuracy of T-and N-staging, assist the planning of surgical approach, evaluate the resectability, and predict the response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy at the early stage, which may provide detailed information for the preoperative planning of gastric cancer.
