Abstract:Psoriatic arthritis(PsA),which is closely linked to psoriasis,is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease characterized by complex and heterogeneous manifestations. In China, delayed diagnosis and suboptimal treatment are prevalent, significantly affecting the prognosis of patients. In recent years, standardized screening questionnaires such as EARP and PEST have provided new insights for the identification of early PsA patients.Furthermore, psoriasis in special areas, nail lesions,as well as musculoskeletal symptoms like enthesitis and dactylitis are helpful in recognizing high-risk populations of PsA.The use of biomarkers,MRI and musculoskeletal ultrasound can assist in differentiating PsA from other inflammatory arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis(RA)and ankylosing spondylitis(AS),so that early diagnosis and timely intervention of PsA can be achieved, which effectively reduces disease-related disability and improve patients' quality of life.
