Abstract：Esophageal carcinoma is one of the common malignant tumors in the world and the incidence and mortality rates in Chinaare the highest in the world. Most patients confirmed are with a progressive stage, so it is vital to get an early diagnosis and treatment of esophageal carcinoma. Endoscopic technique is an important means of early diagnosis and treatment of early esophageal carcinoma and precancerous lesion with its rapid development, especially endoscopic submucosal dissection. This article reviews the research progress in the treatment of early esophageal carcinoma and precancerous lesion by endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD).
