Update and interpretation of consensus on low cardiac output syndrome: focusing on acute right heart failure

Abstract：Low cardiac output syndrome is one of the most common complications of cardiac surgery.It also occurs in many other pathophysiologic conditions.Acute fight heart failure is an important reason for low cardiac output syndrome.Treatments for right heart failure are different from those for left heart failure due to the differences between left heart and right heart in the aspect of anatomy,physiology and pathophysiology.The key points of treatments for right heart failure include volume management;afterload management,inotropic use and potent treatment of diseases that cause acute right heart failure.
