Clinical practice consensus for magnetically controlled capsule gastroscopy
Abstract：Diseases of the stomach are very common in China,especially the gastric cancerwith a continuous high level of morbidity and mortalit.As an important modality for screening and examination of gastric diseases,magnetically-controlled-capsule-gastroscopy (MCCG)has already been widely used in medical institutions at home and abroad.Several clinical trials have already showed that MCE has comparable accuracyin diagnosing gastric diseasescompared with conventional gastroscopy.Furthermore,MCCGhas the advantages of no need of anesthesia,no risks of cross infection,and excellent acceptance,whichshould be a potential altemative for conventional gastroscopy.With plenty of clinical practice of MCCG by experts in recent years,lots of related experience and data has been obtained.In order to standardize and popularize the application of MCCG,the expert consensus for the clinical application of MCCG was developed throughseveral discussions andmodifications among Chinese top expertsin capsule endoscopy.
