Abstract:Objective To assess the role of KAMIR(Korea Acute Myocardial Infarction Registry) risk-score in the evaluation of coronary artery lesion severity in patients with NSTEMI (non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction). Methods T-he medical records of 112 patients with NSTEMI were collected. And KAMIR score model was used to evaluate the risk of the patients. All the NSTEMI patients were divided into low-risk group,intermediate-risk group and high-risk group according to their KAMIR riskscores.Coronary angiogram of all the NSTEMI patients were recorded and evaluated with Gensini score. The relationship between KAMIR riskscores and the number of coronary arteries with lesions,as well as Gensini riskscores were analyzed. Results The incidence of triple-vessel disease in the high-risk group was significantly higher than that in the low-risk group and the intermediate-risk group.Gensini riskscore in the high-risk group was also significantly higher than that in the low-risk group and the intermediate-risk group. Conclusions The severity of coronary artery disease in patients with NSTEMI can be evaluated by KAMIR riskscore. The KAMIR riskscore can be applied in the early assessment of the severity of coronary artery lesion in the NSTEMI patients.
