Critical ultrasonography: a useful tool in the assessment of blood flow and cardiac function

Abstract：Critical ultrasonography can provide two kinds of information for hemodynamic monitoring morphology and function,and make it possible to analyze the status of blood flow and the structure and function of heart effectively.Critical ultrasonography can visualize the whole process of the blood flow in and out of the heart.This opens up a whole new field of vision for the assessment of blood flow and heart in critically ill patients.This article,following the direction of the flow,describes the role of critical ultrasonography in the assessment of inferior vena cava,right heart,left heart,left ventricular outflow tract and vascular tension,which provides a new framework for doctors of ICU to better used critical ultrasonography.
