Research on expression of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase(ADAM)8, 15 and 19 in rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract：Objective Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a kind of autoimmune diseases with synovial hyperplasia and pannus appear in early stage,followed by cartilage and bone destruction.This research is to detectedifADAM8,ADAM15 and ADAM19 are involved in the pathogenesis of RA.Methods Real-time PCRwere used to detect the expression of ADAM8,ADAM 15 and ADAM19 in PBMC ofpatients with RA.Disease activity index andantibody wereanalysized with ADAMs,Disease activity index including erythrocytesedimentationrate (ESR) and C reactive protein(CRP).Antibody including rheumatoid factor(RF) and anti-CCP antibody.Results Real-time PCR results show that ADAM8 high expressin RA and osteoarthritisand gouty arthritis than health control.ADAM8 has relationwith CRP.ADAM15 and ADAM19 are also high express in all three kindsof arthritis,especially significantly increasein RA.ADAM15 and ADAM19 have relation with RF.Conclution ADAM8 take part in variety of arthritis and has the relationwith disease activity index.ADAM15 and ADAM19 are mairly involved in the pathogenesis of RA,ADAM15 and ADAM19 have relations withRF of RA.
