Cardiovascular assessment and peri-operative management of non-cardiac surgery in the elderly

Abstract:The elderly population is a high-risk of cardiovascular disease,and senile disease with multiple organ involvement is very common.Heart disease is often associated with many other diseases.Perioperative cardiac complications in non-cardiac surgery are still very common,and some maybe very dangerous and even life-threatening.So heart disease risk assessment and preoperative intervention are essential and effective treatment is necessary.The perioperative period should be closely observed,and timely correct treatment for cardiac complications is of great value to improve the prognosis of elderly patients with non-cardiac surgery.
