Abstract:As the concept of tumor diagnosis and treatment continues improving, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of early esophageal cancer has been broadly recognized due to not only the same therapeutic effect as traditional surgery but also the minimally invasion, safety, low cost, quality of life after surgery. It represents the treatment direction of esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions in the early 21st century.Minimally invasive treatments for early esophageal cancer include mechanical treatment (endoscopic musoucal resection,multi-band mucosectomy, endoscopic submucosal dissection) as well as physical and chemical treatment (argon plasma coagnlation, radiofrequency ablation, photodynamic therapy).
