Abstract:Hypertension is a common complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD),whose high prevalence is followed by poor control.Standardized treatment of hypertension in those patients contributes to attenuation of CKD progression and reduction of cardiovascular risk.Recently, various guidelines were published, providing detailed recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in CKD,but they failed to reach an agreement with each other. This review summarizes the newest guidelines and their controversies.
