Modem research approach elucidates the therapeutic effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Recipe(TCMR)against leukemia:enlightenment to physicians

Abstract：Prof.CHEN Zhu and his systems biomedicine research team elucidated the multi-target and multicomponent mechanism by which Huangdaipian,a traditional Chinese medicine recipe developed based totally on the theory Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),was used to treat leukemia.They thoroughly elucidated the principle of"monarch,minister,assistant and guide drugs"in traditional Chinese Medicine via a modem research approach.Their result is a good example for using TCM theory to design a comprehensive therapy,and it is great enlishtenment to the Chinese physicians.Their findings may also serve as a guide for the innovation of TCM and herbs,and bring forth a new concept above the conventional integration of TCM and western medicine.
