Clinical thinkings on the diagnosis and treatment of haematemesis and melaena
Abstract：Haematemesis and melaena are the most common symptoms of upper gastrointestinal bleeding. According to the etiology of upper gastrointestinal bleeding it is classified as variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding and nonvariceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The major diagnostic method is endos-copy. The clinical diagnosis and management of Haematemesis and melaena is reviewed in this paper.
