Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of thrombus aspiration combined with Tirofiban during primary PCI in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods The patients with AMI undergoing primary PCI and receiving aspiration thrombectomy catheter combined with Tirofiban (n=113) were enrolled in study group, and those who had similar coronary angiography results and basic characteristics but only received routine PCI(n=249)were enrolled in control group. The outcomes were observed. Results There were no significant differences between two groups at baseline. In the study group, stent were directly implanted and TIMI flow grade 3 was obtained with all superior to the control group, and significant difference of no-reflow/slow flow(P=0.028) was observed between these two groups. There was lower peak serum CK- MB (P=0.027), TnI (P=0.030) and faster ST segment resolution (P=0.005) in the study group. The heart failure (P=0.022) ,re-infarction(P=0.040) and mortality(P=0.042) in hospital were decreased in the study group. Conclusion Application of thrombus aspiration combined with Tirofiban in patients with acute' myocardial infarction was effective, which could decrease no-reflow/slow flow.
