Abstract:Periodontitis is a common inflammatory oral disease that causes loss of periodontal supporting tissues includ-ing gingiva, alveolar bone, periodontal ligaments and cementum, and even tooth loss, severely affecting patients'quality of life. The ultimate goal of periodontal treatment is to regenerate periodontal tissues and restore the normal physiological structure and function of periodontal tissues, and stem cell-based tissue regeneration engineering technology is currently an important technical means to achieve periodontal tissue regeneration.Adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs)are mesen-chymal stem cells derived from adipose tissue, which have the potential for self-replication and multi-directional differ-entiation and are involved in tissue regeneration, revascularization and immune regulation, and are one of the ideal seed cells for periodontal tissue regeneration. This review describes the research progress on the application of ADSCs in peri-odontal tissue regeneration in recent years,in order to provide research direction for periodontal tissue regeneration thera-py-
