Research progress of periodontal therapy and orthodontic treatment effect

Abstract：Orthodontic treatment for periodontal disease patients is challenging and risky,and periodontal treatment directly affects the efficacy and stability of orthodontic treatment.Before orthodontic treatment,periodontal disease patients must be treated with perfect periodontal therapy.Only on the premise of the basic stability of periodontal tissue can the teeth be moved,and then the quality of life of patients with periodontal disease can be improved.This article will review the treatment for periodontal disease before orthodontic treatment,periodontal surgery time and the effects of periodontal surgery on orthodontic tooth movement.
