Abstract:Patients with ovarian cancer are prone to venous thromboembolism(VTE).The risk of VTE for those ovarian cancer patients who receive debulking surgeries would persist until 4 weeks after surgery.Meanwhile, chemotherapy and bevacizumab may in-crease the risk of VTE.During the process of diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer, predictive tools such as Caprini score,G-Caprini score and Khorana score can be used to assess the risk of VTE,so that the gy-necologic oncologists can perform stratified manage-ment,and utilize the clinical methods such as D-dimer and ultrasound to screen, find and manage VTE as early as possible,in order to reduce the harm of VTE and improve the prognosis of ovarian cancer patients.
