Abstract:Preeclampsia is a common pregnancy complication that causes maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality.Although the incidence is higher in nulliparous women than in multiparae, any multipara who has a history of PE bears a higher risk, and if the previous PE is of an early onset,or complicated with eclampsia,HELLP syndrome or FGR,the recurrence risk goes even higher, probably with an even severer degree. The study of the reccurent PE is very challenging for obstetricians. For the multiparous women, the obstetricians should focus on providing a better antenatal counselling, promoting the mothers' health, standardizing the prenatal examination, taking comprehensive preventive measures, monitoring the gestational process and delivery timing,so as to maximize the interests of both the mothers and the babies.
