Comprehensive assessment before surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and the choice of operation mode

Abstract:Pelvic organ prolapse is a disease frequently occurring in middle-aged and old women,and surgical treatment is the preferred treatment for severe pelvic organ prolapse.In a number of surgical procedures,the right choice for surgical operation is very important for the organs correction and organ function improvement.Giving a comprehensive and detailed evaluation of subjective function,clinical signs,auxiliary examination,etc before surgery is very important,and selecting the appropriate operation based on the part of prolapse and other comprehensive factors is also the key to increasing cure rate of the patients with pelvic organ prolapse surgery and improving the subjective symptoms after surgery.
