Abstract:Objective To assess the bladder functions and short-term effect of tumor treatment and the indications of laparoscopic nerve sparing radical hysterectomy (LNSRH) for cervical cancer. Methods A total of 219 patients with stages Ⅰ B 1-Ⅱ A2 cervical cancer from Renji Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from Jul.2013 to Nov.2015 were analyzed retrospectively,150 receiving LNSRH and 69 receiving LRH.Compare the perioperative general information and the duration of postoperative catheterization between the two groups;the urodynamic examination and the bladder sensation were compared within each group. Results The operation duration of LNSRH group was shorter than LRH group (P < 0.05),and the duration of postoperative catheterization was also shorter(14 d vs.20 d,P=0.006).MFR,RU,FVS,MV and the detrusor contraction of LNSRH group recovered better than the LRH group.Concerning time to meet the preoperative level of bladder sensation,LNSRH group was shorter than the LRH group. Conclusion LNSRH has less effect on bladder functions and faster recovery of bladder functions.
