Timing and route of delivery options in cervical lesions complicating pregnancy
Abstract:Cervical lesions complicating pregnancy mainly include cervical intrathelial neoplasm and cervical invasive cancer. Patients with CIN can be followed up without immediate treatment of CIN to term pregnancy and delivered vaginally. Management (delivery timing and delivery route) of cervical cancer during pregnancy depends on 5 factors; stage of the disease, nodal status, histological subtype of the tumor, term of pregnancy, and patient's desire to preserve the pregnancy.
