Fetal ECG: STAN application

Abstract：Fetal electrocardiogram (FECG) is an ef-fective method for perinatal fetal monitoring. With its extensive application, the deficiencies are increas-ingly revealed. In order to reduce the disadvantages, computer analysis of FECG ST-segment, ST analysis (STAN) was developed. STAN analysis should be conducted under good signal quality in accordance with its prerequisites and fetal heart rate (FHR) grades. Intrauterine hypoxia and other changes can be indicated timely in STAN results including its continuity. If an appropriate measure can be taken, it will reduce perinatal morbidity and mortality.
