Objective evaluation of laparoscopy in reconstructive pelvic surgery

Abstract：Female pelvic floor dysfunctional diseases are common diseases which include stress urinary in-continence (SUI) and pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Surgery is the main treatment for the patient with SUI and POP. With the time, the applications of laparoscopy in the pelvic floor reconstructive sur-gery are becoming more widely. Until now, laparo-scopic Burch, paravaginal repair (LPVR), sacrocol-popexy, uterosacral hgament hysteropexy, sacrospi-nons ligament fixation ore usually used in the pelvic floor reconstructive surgery. Compared with vaginal and laparotomy, laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstruc-tive surgery has some advantages. However it also has limitations. We shall scientifically evaluate the effect of laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.
