A study with three regimen for severe vulvovaginal candidiasis

Abstract：Objective To observe and evaluate the curative effects of the three regimens for severe vulvovaginal candidiasis(SVVC).Methods Used the polycentric opening random comparison study,two hundred and four patients with SVVC were divided into Group A:Topical miconazole 400mg quaque day,for six days.Group B:Oral fluconazole 150mg quaque day,fou the first and third day.Group C:Oral fluconazole 150mg quaque day,fou the first day;and topical Miconazle 400mg quaque day,for three days at the same time.To observe the curative effects and the side effects.Results (1)The cure rate of Group A after seven to fourteen days without medicine was 73.13%,and after thirty days was 80.65%,the fungal negative rate was 92.54%and 85.48%.The cure rate of Group B after seven to fourteen days without medicine Was 79.03%,and after thirty days was 79.63%,the fungal negative rate was 87.10%and 83.33%.The cure rate of Group C after seven to fourteen days without medicine was 81.16%,and after thirty days Was 81.54%,the fungal negative rate was 94.20%and 90.63%.There was no distinct difference for them.(2)The satisfactory rate of the patents in Group B was lowerthan Group A,P＜0.05.Conclusion(1)Three projects for SVVC were all effective.(2)Patients were more satisfaction with topical Miconazle,and it would be of interest to study on more medication.
