Causes and management of recurrent vulvovaginitis in the prepubescent children

Abstract:Vulvovaginitis is one of the inflammations commonly seen in genitals of prepubertal girls.Some suffered recurrent episodes.In this review,we address methods of evaluation and physical findings in the prepubescent children.We will describe the causes of vulvovaginitis.Exploring the etiology,including bacterial culturing is important for management.Improving hygiene is critical in preventing recurrence.Specific infection and foreign body should be ruled out.
