Current status of diagnosis and treatment of nonneoplastic epithelial disorders of the vulvar skin and mucosa

Abstract：Nonneoplastic epithelial disorders of the vulvar skin and mucosa is a chronic mucocutaneous tissue degeneration and depigmentation affecting vulvar skin and mucous.Abnormal autoimmunity may causo Lichen sclerosus(LS).LS was divided early stage and advanced stage in pathology,response to treatment was varied according to the stage of the lesions where better results were seen in the early stages.Ultrapotent topical corticosteroids are used for the treatment of LS.which are first line in children.Many treatments including Focused ultrasound and Chinese medicine are effective.but there are no the best method for treatment by now.
