Pathogenetic analysis on pseudocondyloma of vulva.
Abstract:Objective To investigate the pathogenesis of pseudocondyloma of vulva. Methods 321 cases of neoplasms in lower female genital tract were divided into two groups. We determined multiple factors for all the cases. Results The majority of the patients in group A had no histories of illegal intercourses. Their leukorrhea was obviously in creased. The appearance of neoplasms showed in granular or finger shape. Histopathology showed that koilocyte-like cells could be seen without diagnostic koilocytes. Most of the cases were HPV - Ag negative. 22 cases were HPVs-DNA positive( positive rate 12.79% ) with polymerase chain reaction. Conclusion Pseudocondyloma of vulva is a non-sexually transmitted disease which has no relations with HPVs infection.
