Status quo and dilemma in the diagnosis and treatment of necrotizing enterocolitis totalis

Abstract：Necrotizing enterocolitis totalis(NEC-T)is one of the most severe forms of necrotizing enterocolitis,with rapid progression,a high risk of poor prognosis,and a lack of universally accepted treatment strategies.This article summarized the risk factors,treatment decision,prognosis and possible ethical issues in the management of NEC-T,and presented some difficulties and dilemma in the course of clinical diagnosis and treatment.
