Treatment of acute bronchial asthma in children with oxygen nebulizer inhalation
Abstract:Objective To search for a quick and effective therapy for acute bronchial asthma in children. Methods Group A:ultrasonic nebulizer inhaler 0.5% berotec,50μg/kg each time and dexamethasone 5mg, 15 minutes. Group B:6L/min oxygen nebulizer inhaler 0.5% berotec,50μg/kg each time and dexamethasone 5mg, 10minutes. Group C:intravenous drip aminophylline 3~5mg/kg each time and hydrocortisone sodium succinate 5mg/kg,inhale oxygen. Results (1) Symptom improve rate in each group:Group A,21.4% (3/14). Group B,85.0% (17/20). Group C,81.3% (13/16). (2) Every group △PEF variant: Group A:11.714±7.549; Group B:41.100±2.618; Group C: 40.875±19.418. (3) Every group PEF variation rate>15%:Group A positive rate:7.1% (1/14). Group B positive rate:65.0% (13/20). Group C positive rate:68.8% (11/16). Group B and C were better than Group A(P<0.01). Conclusion 6L/min oxygen nebulizer inhalation is a quick and effective treatment.
