Abstract:Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVST)is a rare cerebrovascular disease.Due to its rarity in clinical practice and the absence of typical symptoms and signs,it is prone to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis, thereby delaying the treatment. The author retrospectively analyzed the case data of a child with refractory mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia and CVST,admitted to the hospital for mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia. The anti-infection effect of macrolide antibiotics was poor, and headache occurred during the course of the disease.Cranial MRI and MR venography showed the formation of CVST.After anti-infection and anticoagulation treatments, the condition improved, and the patient was discharged. At follow-up two months after discharge,re-examination of MR venography revealed the disappearance of venous sinus thrombosis.Meanwhile, relevant literature was reviewed to analyze the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment strategies of CVST,with the aim of enhancing clinicians'understanding of this disease.
