Occlusion of bilateral internal carotid and vertebral arteries with cough syncope:a case report

Abstract:Cases of complete occlusion of bilateral internal carotid arteries and bilateral vertebral arteries are relatively rare clinically.The authors reported a patient with bilateral internal carotid artery and bilateral vertebral artery occlusion.The patient had previously experienced cough induced syncope without any other neurological deficits,and cerebral angiography revealed extensive intracranial collateral circulation.The authors reported on this unique case and explored the condition of its intracranial collateral circulation.
