Abstract:Rupture of intracranial aneurysms is the leading cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage, characterized by high mortality and disability rates.Advances in imaging technology have significantly improved the detection rate of unruptured intracranial aneurysms.Once an unruptured aneurysm is detected, its rupture risk requires prompt evaluation to identify high-risk patients and implement interventions, thereby effectively reducing the risk of adverse outcomes. With the continuous development of MRI technology, its role in predicting intracranial aneurysm rupture risk is becoming increasingly prominent.High-resolution magnetic resonance imaging(HR-MRI)has become a hotspot in related research due to its safety,non-invasiveness,ease of implementation, and ability to provide information on the aneurysm wall without radiation exposure. This article reviews the research progress of HR-MRI in assessing the rupture risk of intracranial aneurysms.
