Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of percutaneous monoaxial-monaxial-polyaxial pedicle screws fixation combined with fractured vertebra reduction in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures without neurological deficits. Methods The clinical data of 41 patients with thoracolumbar fractures treated between October 2020 and August 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent percutaneous monoaxial-monaxial-polyaxial pedicle screw fixation with fractured vertebra reduction.Pain intensity was assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),while spinal morphology restoration was evaluated through measurements of local sagittal Cobb angle, vertebral wedge angle, and anterior vertebral height ratio preoperatively,1-week postoperatively, and at final follow-up.Results All procedures were successfully completed. The mean follow-up was 16.2±3.3 months(range:13~23 months).Significant improvements were observed in VAS scores, local sagittal Cobb angle, and anterior vertebral height ratio one week after operation, and at final follow-up(P<0.05).No complications such as cerebrospinal fluid leakage, neurological injury,or implant failure occurred. Conclusion The integration of percutaneous monoaxial-monaxial-polyaxial pedicle screw fixation with fractured vertebra reduction effectively restores vertebral morphology, alleviates pain, and demonstrates reliable short-term efficacy in thoracolumbar fracture management.
