Internet + brain- heart co- treatment: a new model for whole life cycle health management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

Abstract:With the improvement of social living standards and the acceleration of work rhythms,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have become the leading cause of health issues among middle-aged and elderly populations,with an increasingly prevalent trend among younger individuals.The concept of"brain-heart co-therapy"represents an innovative and evolving holistic approach to the integrated treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Currently,emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence,mobile internet,cloud computing,big data,and the Internet of Things(IoT)are rapidly advancing and being applied in the healthcare sector.Therefore,integrating the"Internet Plus"national health informatization strategy with the"brain-heart co-therapy"theory to explore a novel"Internet Plus Brain-Heart Co-Therapy"model for health management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases could help enhance the hierarchical medical system and promote high-quality development in hospitals.This article reviews the research progress of the"Internet Plus Brain-Heart Co-Therapy"model for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease health management in China.
