Abstract:Glioblastoma(GBM)is the most common primary malignant brain tumor in adults, featuring high invasiveness and recurrence.Even with comprehensive treatments such as surgical resection combined with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, tumor electric field therapy, and targeted therapy, the therapeutic efficacy is still poor, and the median survival period is generally no more than 15 months.Molecular biology research can deepen the understanding of the tumorigenesis mechanism.Through screening and validating molecular targets related to GBM,novel therapeutic drugs with specificity and high efficacy can be developed, providing more precise and effective treatment approaches.Increasing evidence indicates that miR-148a can be used as a biomarker for the treatment and prognosis determination of GBM.This article mainly focuses on the research progress of miR-148a in the diagnosis and treatment of GBM.
