Abstract:Radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation constitutes a portion of electromagnetic radiation. The most common forms are the electromagnetic radiation generated by broadcasting, television, and various high-frequency devices, with frequencies ranging from 100 kHz to 300 GHz.Research indicates that radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation may exert varying degrees of influence on multiple systems of the human body, encompassing the nervous system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, immune system, reproductive system, and other health effects.Among them, the impact on the nervous system, including cognitive function,is the most extensive.Radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation mainly impairs brain function through multiple biological effects. This article reviews the potential mechanisms of the harm of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation to the central nervous system and the research progress on the impairment of cognitive function, providing references for subsequent clinical and scientific research.
