Abstract:Subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH)represents a neurological emergency characterized by high mortality and disability rates. As research progresses, early brain injury(EBI)following SAH is increasingly regarded as the principal factor contributing to the unfavorable prognosis of SAH patients.Tenascin-C(TNC),a pleiotropic stromal cell protein,is involved in the pathophysiological process of EBI after SAH.This paper presents a review of the research advancements regarding the role of TNC in EBI after SAH,explores its clinical value, and offers novel ideas for the prevention and treatment of EBI after SAH.
