Abstract:Objective To explore the long-term safety and effectiveness of LVIS stent-assisted embolization coiling of intracranial aneurysms. Methods The clinical data of 108 patients with 116 intracranial aneurysms which were treated by LVIS-assisted embolization from 2014 to 2017 were analyzed retrospectively. All the patients were followed up from 6 to 30 months[mean,(14.3±5.4) months]after the embolization. Results No patients had the rupture or the recurrence of the aneurysms and no patient died during the following-up.Of 116 aneurysms,110(94.8%)were embolized well and 6 not. There was cerebrovascular stenosis in 6(5.17%)cases. Modified Rankin Scale Scores ranged from 0 to 2 points in all the patients. Conclusion LVIS stent-assisted embolization is a safe and effective method to treat intracranial aneurysms.
