Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effects of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) programs on traumatic chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH).Methods Of 107 patients with CSDH,62(observed group)were treated by ERAS programs and 45(control group) by the routine method. The curative effects were analyzed and compared between both the groups. Results The rates of occurrences of subdural effusion, and intracranial pneumatocele were significantly lower in the observed group than those in the control group (P<0.05). The external drainage duration and hospital stay were significantly shorter in the observed group than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of ERAS programs on CSDH is good.
