Abstract:Objective To analyze the properties of brain network by resting functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in patients with craniocerebral blast injury. Methods The resting fMRI was performed in 5 patients with craniocerebral blast injury and 10 healthy subjects serving as control. The brain areas were labeled by anatomical automatic labeling 90 after the pretreatment. The coefficients of correlation of the brain regions were calculated and 90x90 matrix was constructed. Its small world was assessed and the areas under curve of network parameter were calculated. Results The characteristics of the small world of brain network in the patients with craniocerebral blast injury were in line with those in the healthy subjects, and the local efficiency and average connectivity degree were significantly lower in the patients with craniocerebral blast injury than those in the healthy subjects (P<0.05).Conclusions The brain network still had the characteristics of the small world in the patients with craniocerebral blast injury,in Whom the significantly lower local efficiency and the average connectivity degree than those in the healthy subjects may suggest that there is potential disturbance of cerebral function in the patients with craniocerebral blast injury.
