Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of multi-subjects nursing care model on self-care ability in the patients with brain gliomas after the operation. Methods Of 112 patients with cerebral gliomas undergoing the surgery,56 (control group) received routine neurological nursing and 56 received the multi-subjects nursing care model intervention on the basis of the routine neurological nursing. The effects were analyzed 3 months after the nursing in both the groups. Results The scores of self care ability,mini-mental state examination and Barthel index were significantly higher in the observed group than those in the control group 3 months after the nursing (P<0.05).The rate of the occurrence of complications including the respiratory tract infections, pressure ulcers, venous thrombosis, urinary tract infections and so on was significantly lower in the observed group than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The multi-subjects nursing care model is worthy of the clinical expansion because it can decrease the complication and improve the prognoses in the patients with cerebral gliomas undergoing the surgery.
