Abstract:Objective To summarize the clinical experience in treating the subclavian-vertebral artery bifurcation scries stenoses by single stent technique. Methods Eight consecutive patients with symptomatic subclavian-vertebral artery bifurcation series stenoses were endovascularly treated by single stent implanting from February,2010 to April,2015.All the patients were followed up for 24 months. The curative outcomes were evaluated by the clinical symptoms, ultrasonagraphy and DSA.Results All the stents were successfully implanted. The residual stenoses after the stenting were less than 10% in all the patients. There were no operation-associated complications in all the patients. The clinical symptoms were significantly improved. No restenosis of the subclavian-vertebral arteries and no stroke events occurred during the following up in all the patients. Conclusion The treatment of subclavian-vertebral artery bifurcation series stenosis with single stent implantation is technically feasible and very effective.
