Abstract:After the occurrence of a disaster, how to achieve the rapid and efficient detection of life information of trapped individuals becomes the key to improving rescue efficiency and success rates. To this end, this paper elaborates on the critical issues and corresponding solutions encoun-tered in the rescue processes of major disaster types such as earthquakes, mining accidents, and col-lapses.On this basis,it further analyzes the research progress of four life information detection technologies—audio-video detection, infrared detection, gas detection, and radar detection—and systematically reviews the developmental trajectories of these technologies, clarifies the technical challenges and key technological milestones faced in their evolution, and finally outlines the direc-tions that future research should prioritize.Meanwhile, from the perspective of rescue needs, this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis and discussion on the development directions of disaster rescue and detection technologies. The review presented herein points out the direction for the de-velopment of high-performance,multimodal life information detection technologies and equipment for rescue operations.
