Abstract:To investigate the failure time of the accelerated creep and the time-dependent damage characteristics of the bolted soil structures, subjected to the pull load,a damage model, which consisted of plastic acceleration elements and describe the characteristics of the creep, was established.According to the characteristics of the creep displacement, the characteristics of the failure time of the accelerated creep, the shear displacements of the debonded segment and the anchored segment, and the time-dependent damage variable of the anchorage interface were analyzed. The results show that there is nonlinear damage and displacement on the anchorage interface in the stepped loading process. In addition, the most and the least damaged parts were observed at the end and the bottom of the anchorage segment, respectively.Simultaneously, damage accumulated with the increase in loading time, and the time of the damage acceleration agreed well with the accelerated creep time. The control on loading rate and the ultimate pull force, and the decrease in the shear displacement of the debonded segment may contribute to the structural stability of the bolted soil engineering.
