Abstract:In order to master the different effects of N2 and CO2 inhibiting the whole process of coal combustion, the self-developed experiment devices were used to conduct respectively the experiments on the processes of coal low temperature oxidation and coal flame combustion under the condition of importing same flux N2 and CO2,and the change laws of the rate of oxygen consumption;CO and CH4 production in low temperature oxidation stage and temperature, index gas formation (O2,CO and CH4),heat release rate obtained from flame combustion stage were measured. The results show that compared to coal free combustion,in low temperature oxidation stage, the rate of oxygen consumption;CO and CH4 production during injecting CO2 are more higher than that of injecting N2;In flame combustion stage, coal temperature rise rate, oxygen consumption, heat release rate, the speed of CO and CH4 production decline during injecting CO2 are more lower; In smoldering extinguishes stage, the coal temperature, the speed of CO and CH4 production decline during injecting CO2 are more higher, but oxygen consumption and heat release rate are more lower. It follows that CO2 has more capacity of inhibiting the whole process of coal combustion compared to N2.
