Energy consumption analysis and energy saving strategies for coal mine production in China

Abstract：The coal production in China can be found in five major areas:Shanxi-ShaanxiNingxia-Gansu-Inner Mongolia district,Eastern China district,Northeastern China district,Southern China district and Xinjiang-Qinghai district.The energy consumption in the process of coal production such as mining,transportation,ventilation,drainage,washing and so on was investigated,and the status quo and problems of energy saving was analyzed.Research results show that the energy consumption during the coal mining process can be divided into three types,which are explicit energy consumption,source energy consumption and implicit energy consumption.Reducing these three kinds of energy consumption demands advancement in technology and optimization of production process.By energy optimization,technical energy saving and full use of materials in the whole process,the goal of energy conservation can be achieved.
