Study on Utilization of Waste as Roadbed Materials

Abstract：The physical and mechanical properties of waste from coal underground mining was investigated, and the main problems about its application as roadbed materials were discussed. The research shows that the waste is a fine roadway construction material. A practical measuring method for testing the compaction degree of waste was proposed . Industrial tests have proven that to use waste as roadbed materials in roadway construction is feasible and may yield remarkable technical, economic and social benefits .
