Kinematics Analysis of Pick on Transverse Cutting Head of Roadheader

Abstract：The pick locus, velocity and acceleration equations of a pick on the transverse cutting head of roadheader were given. The effect of the rotation velocity and the horizontal swinging velocity of cutting head on the relative variation of the pick velocity and acceleration were studied through computer simulation. The result has provided the basis of choosing work parameters of cutting head in theory.
